In his remarks, the Chairman of the North Sumatra KPU explained the process and procedures for registering individual candidates regarding the minimum support requirements as individual candidates.

"Submission of the minimum support requirement files for DPD RI candidates as stipulated in the law must submit a minimum support requirement of 3000 people with a spread of 50% or in 17 Regencies and Cities, then include a statement of support, along with attachments for inclusion, registration is open from the 16th to the 29th December 2022 and December 30, all data for RI DPD candidates will be diversified," said Herdensi in his remarks.

Meanwhile, the DPD RI candidate from North Sumatra Faisal Amri in his remarks expressed his gratitude for the smooth running of the registration process by the North Sumatra KPU team, even though there were problems in the internal system at the Central KPU, so that data that should have been registered regarding terms and support, experienced temporary obstacles.

"Our thanks to the KPU of North Sumatra for accepting our registration, even though there are still problems in the Central KPU system, we hope that internal problems in the Central KPU IT system can be handled quickly," said the former HMI Medan branch activist, who is also registered as a member of the RI DPD this 2019-2024 period.
