SIDOARJO, dpd.go.id - The chairman of the DPD RI, AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti, expressed his appreciation for the Mardhotillah Islamic Boarding School in Krian, Sidoarjo, which was able to establish the Mardhotillah Plus Vocational School with a link and match-based curriculum with the business and industrial world (DUDI). So that students get the skills needed.
LaNyalla's appreciation was conveyed directly when she visited the Islamic boarding school led by Ustaz M Maliki Muhadi, Wednesday (26/10/2022).
LaNyalla appreciates the increasingly advanced development of Islamic boarding schools.
"Schools plus students are a good thing. In addition to educating morals and character, it also equips the younger generation with skills that are useful for the world of work. So that later they can immediately work or create jobs," said LaNyalla.
Meanwhile, Ustaz Maliki was grateful for the visit of the Chairman of the DPD RI who has also been the board of directors of Ponpes Mardhotillah.
"The caretaker of the cottage and all the students as well as the congregation and the community always pray that Mr. LaNyalla will always be given dzohir and mental health," he said.
Ustaz Maliki added, he also prays that LaNyalla will always be trustworthy in carrying out the duties of the state and her goals will be granted, leading the DPD RI even better and bringing benefits to the nation and state.
"Don't forget our prayers so that you can become the number one person in this country by bringing Indonesia to a better state," he said.
Regarding Islamic boarding schools, Ustaz Maliki asked for support related to facilities and infrastructure for teaching and learning activities. Because Ponpes Mardhotillah still lacks classrooms to study and lacks dormitories to accommodate male students.
"What is certain, with all the shortcomings that we are still working on, we are committed to producing graduates to become professional, pious and skilled workers and have a high, creative-innovative work culture, as well as being able to compete in the business and industrial world," he said. (*)
