Chairman of DPD RI Receives Strategic Study from BEM Polinema

MALANG, dpd.go.id- The Chairman of the DPD RI, AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti, received the aspirations of the strategic study results from the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the State Polytechnic of Malang (Polinema), Friday (21/19/2022).

The results of the study were directly conveyed by the Chairman of BEM Ryan Yudhistira Fitrah Candra when LaNyalla visited the campus.

In his explanation, Ryan hoped that the results of the BEM study would be brought to the attention of DPD RI and submitted to the central government for follow-up.

"I want to convey our aspirations in the form of a study from us regarding the problems and problems that exist at this time. This is in line with the content of Mr. LaNyalla's material that we need changes by the nation regarding existing problems," said Ryan.

According to him, the strategic studies produced by BEM Polinema, among others, are related to the problems of implementing Merdeka Learning on campus, studies of floods that often occur in the Malang area, studies on agrarian reform which are still having many problems in various areas in East Java, labor problems in East Java, including the existence of Law of Job Creation and some other problems.

According to Ryan, his party has often conveyed the strategic studies compiled to several policy makers who were present at Polinema. But so far it has not been discussed further.

"We have submitted a study on workers related to the Omnibus Law to the Deputy Minister of Manpower, then other studies to the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, also to the Deputy Minister of ATR," he said.

"We hope that the DPD RI is also concerned with solving the problem. Furthermore, the study can be submitted to the government, in this case the President," he said.

The chairman of the DPD RI explained that the DPD RI does have the main task of receiving aspirations, then conveying these aspirations to the relevant Ministries. However, the execution of these aspirations is in the hands of the government.

"We accept your aspirations and we will convey them to the right parties. I ask you to continue to contribute to the nation. You are the nation's straightening generation, because the direction of travel has deviated from the national goal," said LaNyalla.(*)
