Tanjung Selor, dpd.go.id – Senator of the House of Regional Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI) from the constituency of North Kalimantan Province (Kaltara), Fernando Sinaga held a meeting with Village Heads, religious leaders, traditional community leaders and youth leaders around Tanjung Selor, Bulungan Regency last Wednesday (20/10/2022).
The meeting was also attended by one of the administrators of the Muslimat Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Bulungan Regency, Siti Bulqis.
"God willing, the Muslimat NU Bulungan support Mr. Fernando to sit back as the representative of the Kaltara Province in the DPD RI in the upcoming 2024 period," said Siti Bulqis.
Siti Bulqis, who is also the Chairperson of the Nazwatun Khasanah study in Tanjung Selor, Bulungan Regency, said that this meeting with Fernando Sinaga was the meeting she had been waiting for.
"I hope there will be a further, larger face-to-face meeting between Pak Fernando Sinaga and the Muslimat NU Bulungan and a member of the recitation that I lead, Nazwatun Khasanah," said Siti. (*)
