According to Senator Stefa, that by the current condition of electricity is oversupply, so it is hoped that no industry and households in North Sulawesi will have difficulty getting electricity supply. However, said Senator Stefa who is also the Chairman of the Regional Legislation Affairs Agency (BULD) DPD RI, that he is still listening to complaints, especially from households that do not have electricity, and even power outages that have an impact on damage to household appliances/equipment.
However, Senator Stefa appreciated PT PLN Suluttenggo for being so responsive and reacting quickly in overcoming electricity problems, especially blackouts due to technical damage and natural factors as well as strategic and concrete programs in the electricity sector in this area.
During a working visit and meeting that took place at the PT PLN UIW Sulutenggo Management Meeting Room in Manado, Thursday (20/10), Senator Stefa was received by the General Manager of PT PLN (Persero) UIW Suluttenggo Ari Dartomo, represented by the Senior Manager of Finance, Communications and General Affairs Wijaya Gautama, Manager of IPP and Captive Power Ade Rahmat and Marketing Manager of Yudistira. During the meeting, Senator Stefa also asked about the implementation, especially in North Sulawesi, regarding Presidential Instruction Number 7 of 2022 concerning the use of electric-based motorized vehicles. Likewise in certain areas such as the PLTS programmed to meet the availability of electrical energy. Regarding the technical application of Presidential Instruction 7/22, there are already several Public Vehicle Filling Stations (SPKLU) and efforts are being made to add them by the end of 2022 and procurement in 2023.
