PASURUAN, dpd.go.id - Quoting the statement of Kiai Haji As'ad Syamsul Arifin, a figure and scholar who played an important role in the birth of Nahdlatul Ulama, Chairman of the DPD RI, AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti, said that Muslims must defend Pancasila.
This was conveyed by LaNyalla while attending the 8th Haul of KH Abu Bakar Cholil at the Alhidayah Muslim Metal Islamic Boarding School, Pasuruan, East Java, Monday (2/1/2023).
"If Pancasila is damaged, then NU must be responsible! Muslims must defend Pancasila! Because this is Mujma'alaih, or the consensus of the scholars!” LaNyalla said quoting Kiai Haji As'ad Syamsul Arifin's statement.
LaNyalla explained, this was very reasonable, considering that so many of the nation's founders had a scholarly background.
"They are not random people. It is their noble soul and thoughts that lead this nation to choose the Pancasila democratic system and the Pancasila economic system," he explained.
Unfortunately, Pancasila has been abandoned. This nation chooses a liberal democratic system with a capitalistic market economic system.
"Therefore, I offer a Roadmap to restore Sovereignty and People's Welfare. We return to Pancasila, we return the original text of the 1945 Constitution, and then we perfect the weaknesses in the right way, through an addendum technique. It’s not completely changed to a new Constitution," he explained.
LaNyalla explained, Pancasila Democracy is the most suitable political system for Indonesia. Pancasila democracy is a Syuro system, with the highest state institution as the representative and embodiment of all the people.
"It's the same with the Pancasila economic system, which in essence is that the state must have full authority over the earth and water and the wealth contained therein," he said.
So that the Indonesian economy is run with three main pillars. Cooperatives or people's businesses. Then state companies. Then the private sector, both national and foreign private.
"The division position is firm, between the area of public goods, which absolutely must be controlled by the state, and the area of commercial goods for the private sector, as well as the wedge between the two which combines joint work. So that a joint business process occurs," he said.
According to him, this conception is the same and congruent with the Islamic conception of looking at natural resources.
“In Islam, public ownership commodities or Public Goods are categorized into three strategic sectors. Namely water, fields or forests, and fire or energy. All three must be controlled by the State," he explained.
In fact, in the hadith of Ahmad's History, the price is forbidden. This means that it may not be commercialized into Commercial Goods.
"This is also written in the Hadith of Ahmad's History, which means: "Muslims both need to associate for three things, namely water, fields, and fire and the price for all three is forbidden," he explained.
The alumnus of Brawijaya University Malang said that Muslims, who have a big contribution in the birth of this country, should be critical in seeing and observing the direction of this nation's journey.
"That is why I offer an idea for us to remember and re-read the thoughts of the nation's founding fathers. We must return to Pancasila. So that we do not become a nation that is disobedient to the nation's founders. lost identity and character," he said.
LaNyalla hopes that this nation will not repeat the deviant practices that occurred in the Old Order and New Order eras.
"Indonesia should be sovereign, independent and independent again. A country that is the life expectancy of the earth's population. Because Indonesia is very likely to become a world food barn, as well as a world oxygen producer through the wealth of our forest biodiversity," he said.
The caretaker of Al Hidayah Muslim Metal Islamic Boarding School, Kiai Haji Nur Kholis Al Maulani, praised LaNyalla's concern for the pesantren.
"I am amazed by Mr. LaNyalla because he has always been close to the Islamic boarding school. Mr. LaNyalla has always cared about the Islamic boarding school. Thank you Mr. LaNyalla for your attention. Pray that we can continue to build the Islamic boarding school," he said.
The Chairman of the DPD RI was accompanied by the Expert Staff of the Chairman of the DPD, Baso Juherman. The event was also attended by East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa who was represented by the Head of Bakorwil Malang Budi Santoso, Regent of Pasuruan represented by Deputy Regent Kiai Haji Abdul Mujib Imron, Former PBNU Chairman K.H. Said Aqil Siradj, Nyai Hajjah Mutmainnah, K.H. Agus Masruri and the Chairperson MPC Pancasila Youth Pasuruan Regency, M. Ravi. (*)
