"We appreciate it, but we must really pay close attention to and follow the provisions of the law that we just revised, namely one of which is that the law must be promulgated," said Hasan Basri.
Regarding the inventory of supervision material for the implementation of Law no. 8 of 2019 specifically related to Umrah, Hasan Basri said that in 2022 in North Kalimantan, the number of applicants for the Umrah pilgrimage had increased by 900 registrants from previous years.
However, in the midst of the surge that occurred, his party made a recommendation to the Central Government to conduct outreach to local governments and travel regarding standard price setting that occurred in North Kalimantan. Because based on the aspirations received, the number of tariffs set varies.
"Guidelines and standards need to be made regarding the services of Umrah pilgrims, one of which concerns coaching, protection and service," said Hasan Basri.
