Inaugurate New Management, Secretary General of DPD RI Asks DPD Bikers Community to Build a Positive Image of DPD RI

JAKARTA, dpd.go.id - The Secretary General of the DPD RI Rahman Hadi together with the Deputy for Trials of the Secretariat General of the DPD RI Sefti Ramsiaty and the Deputy for Administration of the Secretariat General of the DPD RI Lalu Niqman Zahir as coaches confirmed the new management structure of the DPD Bikers Community. In the new structure, Rahman Hadi hopes that the community can carry the good name of DPD RI to the community.

“Today, we affirm with a shared spirit that this community is an ambassador for the Secretariat General of the DPD RI and the DPD RI to carry out socialization through organizations with various activities in the form of caring. Hopefully these activities can inspire the new management, so that for the DPD RI, this organization will provide benefits," said Rahman Hadi at the DPD RI Parking Yard, Wednesday (26/10).

The Secretariat General, continued Rahman, appreciated the DPD Bikers Community which was more than 5 years old. He is sure, apart from being able to socialize DPD RI, the community is also able to provide a good example for the community in driving safely and upholding tolerance among road users.

“What we have to maintain is togetherness and cohesiveness in channeling aspirations and hobbies, so that positive things can be produced. Our hope is not how far we travel, but how far we are able to give respect to fellow road users," Rahman said.

Regarding road safety, the Deputy for Sessions of the Secretariat General of the DPD RI, Sefti Ramsiaty, advised members of the DPD Bikers Community to apply Law no. 22/2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation. DPD Bikers Community is also expected to be able to participate in socializing the Law to the community.

"Still obeying the regulations according to the LLAJ Law and solidarity with fellow road users must remain, don't be reckless, because we carry the name of DPD RI. Greetings One Asphalt," said Sefti, who is also the builder of the DPD Bikers Community.

Similarly, the Deputy for Administration of the Secretariat General of the DPD RI, Lalu Niqman Zahir, hopes that the DPD Bikers Community activity program can develop in accordance with the vision and mission of the Secretariat General of the DPD RI, which is to become a supporting system for the DPD RI.

"I hope this community will make a positive contribution to the institution, its members, and the community," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Protocol, Public Relations, and Media Bureau Mahyu Darma explained that the background of the DPD Bikers Community was formed not only to channel hobbies, but also to support the function of the General Secretariat of the DPD RI in socializing the DPD RI to the public. This support is carried out by organizing social activities in the community.

"We once provided assistance to victims of the Sunda Strait tsunami disaster in Banten in 2019. This community also often does social services to the community," added Mahyu who is also an Advisor to the DPD Bikers Community.

Mahyu also congratulated the new board of DPD Bikers Community, chaired by Head of Treasury Ilham Akbar, Head of Subdivision for Storage and Deletion of BMN Rahmat Hidayat as deputy chairman, Head of Administrative Subdivision, Deputy for Trials, Herawati as treasurer, and Head of Protocol, Public Communication, Data and Information Subdivision. "We hope that our friends can support the movement of the DPD RI movement," Mahyu hoped.

On the same occasion, Chairman of the DPD Bikers Community, Ilham Akbar, said that in the future, his community will continue to carry out various social service activities. DPD Bikers Community will also build cooperation with various communities engaged in the social sector.
